AAI National Indoor League / Glasgow and London.

The AIT indoor arena in Athlone hosted the first round of the AAI National Indoor League on Saturday and the AAI U20 & U23 championships on Sunday.

Adam McComb, running his first ever indoor 400m, won guest race one on Saturday and set the second fastest time of the day with a time of 49.26s.

Sunday saw Aaron Sexton, who is still U18, in his first competitive outing of the year at the Irish U20s. After winning his heat of the 200m in a modest 22.25s he went on to take the silver medal in the final with a time of 21.76s which is not only a new club U20 & senior record but also puts him 25th on the Irish all-time indoor list.

In the Scottish Senior Championships at the Emirates in Glasgow, Clare Robinson was 5th in the 60m hurdles with a pb of 9.45 and a very impressive pb at long jump of 5.52 to take bronze.

In the London Indoor Games at Lee Valley, Sarah Connolly won the C 60m hurdles in 9.00, just 0.01 short of her pb.
