Yorkshire Marathon, Boston Half and Irish ¾ marathon

As usual some of our athletes went on a unique running event this weekend. This time Robert Martin travelled to Yorkshire and made his way around the marathon route in a very respectable 3:29:09. Only Carrick, Dresden and Dublin to go for Rab, and that is just this month.

Closer to home Michael Stevenson completed the unusual distance of ¾ marathon and having raced the same event last year, ran a pb time of 3:12:06, 14 minutes quicker than last year.

Over in Boston Francis Marsh decided to take on the half marathon and finished in a very commendable 27th position overall and 2nd in his age category. His splits were 5 mile – 28:54 and 10 mile – 58:11 with a finishing time of 1:16:39. Great work and well done.
