To celebrate the summer solstice Helen Byers went to the extreme of heading North and stretching the daylight hours even further. Throw in a half marathon in Iceland which results in a 1:39 pb and a 4th place age category then the trip must be considered a success.
It’s not often we look forward to returning to North Down for warmer weather and a touch of darkness.
