London Marathon

They ran through hail, rain, sleet and snow, trained on soft mud and battled the incessant North Down wind to run the London marathon in sweltering heat approaching 26 degrees. 

The conditions inevitably took it’s toll on some of our runners with a withdrawal during the race and the remaining athletes realising that just getting round was the priority.  Despite this there were some great performances and memorable experiences gained as the thousands of fellow entrants ran through London completing the 26 mile circuit.
