Six of our promising young athletes attended Tullamore for the Irish championships on Sunday.
First up was Amy Kimber who finished 9th in the U16 Discus, her best throw 21:28. Megan Briggs was 8th in the U14 800M running 2:29:15 and Ollie Wakefield was unlucky not to be in the medals when jumping 6:16 in the U18 long jump, claiming 4th place. Katie Kimber best throw in the U14 Javelin was 20:48 which managed 10th.
