Jamie Moffatt selected for NI Youth Commonwealth Games 100m in Trinidad & Tobago

Congratulations to North Down AC’s Jamie Moffatt and coach, Roger Sexton, on his selection for the Youth Commonwealth Games. Here’s the announcement from ANI.

 🌟 5 Athletes Named on NI Youth Commonwealth Games Team 🌟

Athletics NI are delighted to announce that five athletes have been chosen to represent Northern Ireland at this year’s Youth Commonwealth Games.

The Games will take place from 4th-11th August in Trinidad and Tobago, nicknamed ‘Trinbago’ for the Games.

The athletics team are as follows:
Anna Gardiner Coach: Peter Morgan Club: East Down AC Event: 3000m
Lucy Foster Coach: Davy Foster Club: Willowfield Harriers Event: 1500m
Toby Thompson Coach: Roger Sexton Club: Ballymena & Antrim AC Event: 200m
Frank Buchanan Coach: Francis Shaw Club: St Michaels College AC Event: 1500m
Jamie Moffatt Coach: Roger Sexton Club: North Down AC Event: 100m

Congratulations to each of their athletes and their coaches!

Team NI will also include 6 swimmers, 2 cyclists and 2 triathletes for the Games.
