Daphne Hamill Memorial Track & Field Meet, MPT 27/05/23

North Down AC remembered one of their founder members, Daphne Hamill by hosting a track and field meeting in her memory at the Mary Peters Track on Saturday 27th May.  Many of North Down AC’s athletes were in action against some of the finest talent from Northern Ireland and further afield and across all athletic disciplines, with an incredible number of athletes setting PBs on the track and at throws and jumps. The depth of talent in the club was further emphasised by the same athletes achieving PBs across different events with limited recovery time on a warm afternoon. Craig McMeechan’s late surge down the home straight in the men’s 800m A race also saw him win with a season’s best time. Full results are available at–FFu_xVGOOMmt7Pv0&pagenum=2
