3 North Down athletes were competing at the Athletics Northern Ireland Indoor Jumps and Throws competition at the University of Ulster’s Jordanstown campus on Saturday 3rd February. All came home with podium finishes in their respective age group competitions.
Anna Moran was 2nd in the U17G shot put with a best throw of 8.56m. Anna also finished 3rd in the long jump with 4.67m.
In the U15G competition, Caoimhe Fenlon won the shot put with an 8.34m throw and she finished 2nd in the long jump with a best jump of 4.37m.
Nyla Hughes’ best jump of 3.95m secured her win in the U15G long jump.
