Two of North Down AC’s experienced Hill &Dale runners, Clair Quigley and Trevor Patterson, made a return to the Mournes on Friday 21st July for the Born 2 Run Sea 2 Sky 10k race which started and finished on a damp Newcastle Promenade and took runners up the trails through Donard Forest and the foothills of the Mournes where, on a better evening, runners might have enjoyed the views, before a descent back into the town. Clair finished in 46:03 while Trevor completed the race in 1:09:19 after being delayed in a bottleneck caused by runners ahead trying to avoid the worst of the mud!
