Run in the Dark, Stormont, 15/11/23

The annual Run in the Dark 5k and 10k races at Stormont and other cities across the UK and Ireland, as well as pop up events in cities across the world attract more than 25000 runners, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for spinal injury charities, inspired by Holywood man, Mark Pollock who is working with researchers to overcome paralysis. North Down AC provided an experienced team of volunteer marshals led by club president, David Seaton, to help ensure the safety of almost 2000 runners racing around the Stormont Estate during the evening of Wednesday 15th November. Runners tackled 1 5k lap or 2 laps for 10k. Donald Smith completed the 5k in 23:40.
