Wednesday 2nd August sees the return of the ever popular Crawfordsburn Trail Race, a 5000 metre tour of the undulating pathways and scenic surrounds of the country park, and with entry capped at 300, participants are advised to book their place sooner rather than later.
Online registration is open until midnight 1st August 2023 (if the entry limit is not reached beforehand). There will be NO entries available on the night.
£10 per person
Open to all athletes aged from 13, of all abilities, the trail route is a mixture of gravel, tarmac and grass, will be well marked and fully marshalled, and the race will be chip timed.
As ever, Davie Seaton will be on hand to offer advice and encouragement:-
‘As President of North Down Athletic Club I welcome competitors to the long established and popular Crawfordsburn Trail Race. This scenic and challenging course set in a lovely part of County Down traditionally attracts athletes from all parts of the Province as they compete over 5 Kilometres of varying terrain. May you all enjoy the experience.’
Toilet facilities and car parking are available at the Countryside Centre. There is no changing accommodation and runners should dress accordingly.
