Seán Nickell was back on the muddy forest trails around the Woodburn reservoirs in the hills above Carrickferguson Saturday 3rd February. The We Run Wild races including marathon, half marathon and 10k options had been rescheduled since the snow and ice which seemed to lie for longer than almost anywhere else in Northern Ireland forced their postponement last month. Naturally the North Down AC endurance specialist chose the marathon, using it as a training run for upcoming ultramarathons. Seán finished in 10th place in 4:04:12.
