On Thursday 14th March the Ards and North Down primary school cross country event took place in Londonderry Park in Newtownards. The recent persistent rain meant it was a wet and muddy course, but there were still some great performances from club members. Daisy Mullin (Ballyholme) won the girls’ race and was followed home by three Towerview pupils; Rose Reavy in 2nd, Alani Santos in 12th and Mollie Rankin in 29th. Towerview were the first team home. In the boys’ race, Ben Dumigan (Towerview) was 2nd, Isaac Hall (Glencraig) was 5th and Adam Downey (Towerview) 10th.
