The CIYMS Boxing Day 5k race made a welcome return to the festive fixtures in 2023. Several North Down AC runners made their way to the east Belfast venue where Oliver Playfair led the NDAC runners home in 2nd place overall in 17:16. Jodi Smith was next to finish in 20:56 ahead of daughter Coco in 21:32. Nigel Playfair ran 21:51 and Sarah Gibson completed the course in 22:18. Erin Playfair was the next club finisher in 24:17 followed by Isla Wiltshire in 26:09 while Pat O’Driscoll was the final North Down runner over the line in 34:45.
