District Schools Cross Country – Delamount 19/01/23
While wintry weather played havoc with adult race fixtures over the weekend the toughest of North Down AC’s athletes represented their schools at the District Schools Cross Country at Delamount on 19th January with excellent performances across all the races.The first 15 athletes in each race qualified for the Ulster Schools Cross Country on 8th February. Congratulations to all the athletes who took part.
Mini girls – Isla Wiltshire 2nd, Coco Smith 6th, Caitlyn Dickenson 22nd.
Mini boys – Bailey Duncan 6th, James Blease 15th, Charlie Patton 32nd, Charlie Rayner 33rd, Matthew Elliott 38th and Thomas Newman 80th.
Minor girls – Erin Playfair 6th.
Minor boys – Alex Downey 2nd, Ethan Constable 9th and John Kinney 41st.
Junior girls – Holly Blease 3rd, Anna Moran 13th.
Junior boys – Aodhan Keag 3rd, Isaac Dunne 6th. Jude Jenkins 35th.
Intermediate girls – Becka Laffin 6th, Lauren Cheatley 10th, Eimear Mulligan and Ellie Dines 16th.
Intermediate boys – Oliver Playfair 2nd. Chris Belshaw 31st and Alex Newman 35th.
Senior girls – Mac Eager 3rd, Lucy Cheatley 5th. Connie Hannah 8th
