Athletics Northern Ireland has been invited to enter a team into this event to compete against the counties and districts of England, Scotland and Wales. Athletics NI will send athletes in the Senior men’s and Senior women’s categories. Unfortunately, this event clashes with the All-Ireland Schools Cross Country and NI & Ulster Indoor Championships, which has resulted in no junior teams being selected this year.

Mark Kirk, Endurance Coordinator said, “We are pleased to be sending some of our strongest cross-country runners to this event which will give them the opportunity to test themselves against the best UK has to offer. The fields will be very competitive as each county and region in the UK select their best runners. The Senior teams are made up of athletes that are demonstrating good progression and will hold their own in this competition. Hopefully, it will give them the opportunity to finish their cross-country season on a high.”
