The latest race in Born 2 Run’s popular “Run Forest Run” series of 5k and 10k winter trail races took place on Saturday 20th January. The Minnowburn 10k race started and finished on the Mary Peters Track and took in some of the Lagan path and the undulating forest trails around Minnowburn and the Barnett Demesne. Several North Down AC took part with Ashley Dixon winning in 35:36. Darren Edgar finished in 41:39. Roberta Dornan was 6th lady home and won the F45 age category in 46:45. With 2 races left in the series Roberta is still leading her age group. Sandra and Mick Hall always enjoy the B2R trail races and finished in 1:00:34 and 1:0:38 respectively.
