4 of North Down’s finest needed their sun cream for their visit to the Newry Half Marathon on Sunday 28th May. The heat had no effect on Sandra Hall as she slashed more than a minute off her recent Omagh Half PB, finishing in 1:55:34. She didn’t have to wait in the shade for too long to watch Mick Hall cross the line in 2:01:40 followed by Andrea Green in 2:11:26 and Glenn Frazer in 2:22:02.
Sarah Gibson and Paula Simpson added to their other races this week by running in the 10k too, Sarah finished in 41:44 and Paula ran 48:44.
