Good luck to Amy Foster who leaves for Beijing on Saturday (5th Aug) as a member of the small Irish team for the upcoming World Junior Championships in which she will compete in the 200m. There they will prepare for the Championships which will start on Tuesday August 15th.
Amy has previously competed in the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 2nd at 100m, and the European Junior Championships. She has run faster than the standard for 100m and 200m this year although she has been thwarted by the wind gauge but she already had the standard for 200m from last year.
