With Anna Boyle having withdrawn from the Irish team, new 100m Senior Champion Amy Foster will represent Ireland in this event at the weekend in Vaasa, Finland, in the First League of the European Cup. This represents a change of plan for Amy who was originally intending to run at Mannheim, Germany, in her quest to achieve the European Junior Championship standard over 200m.
