Amy Foster reached the semi final of the 100m at the European Junior Championships in Hengelo Holland when she finished 3rd in her heat and also set a new PB of 11.83secs (+0.9) and had the ninth fastest heat time. She was behind Popowicz of Poland and Ograzeanu of Romania. Amy had another pb of 11.79 sec (+0.8) in the semi final but was 7th and missed out on the final. This left her with an overall ranking in the 100m of tenth.
