Civil Services Races at Stormont

Simon Seaton was first club runner home in the Civil Service cross country promotion at Stormont. covering the 5 mile course in 31:29 min for 8th. On the muddy surface which was very hard underneath, Nick Arkenspaar was 21st in 33:10 min and Tony Wall 35th in 35:14 min.while Thomas Simpson also had a good run  with 43rd in 36:29 min.  Norman Lellyett (49th 39.19), Marcus McAuley (52nd 37.51),  Pat O"Driscoll (73rd 46.37)and Hugh Young (74th 47.42) also featured while in the Ladies 3.5 mile race, Lynne Kerr was 8th in 27.06 min and Stephanie Hambling was 9th in 27:56 min.  Jordan Stokes won the  3K U15 race in 10.47 (with the race incorporated in the U17 race) while Matthew McMullan was 3rd U15 in 10:58 min and Mark Armstrong 6th in 11.15. Leigh McWha also ran and was 6th U15 girl in 14.33 min. In the 1K race for Primary Schools Jordan Williams was 3rd in 3:27 min and led Kilmaine PS to a team win. Glen Willis was 3rd in the 2K U13 race in 7:41 min.
