Dennis Scott and Kerry Speers had podium success on Easter Sunday when East Down AC held a tough 10K road race down the Ards Peninsular in Ballygalget, near Portaferry. Brendan Teer of the host club cruised to a win in 32:59 min with Dennis a good 2nd in 34:25. This was trumped by Kerry in 10th overall, winning the ladies race by 8 minutes in 41:56.
