The brilliant sunshine continued at Mary Peters on Friday for the Down Schools Districts with the Inter and Senior agegroups. Club athletes had some great results and performances led by Meeting Records by Hannah Lewis at 200m, David Keys at hammer, Kim Shaw at 400m, Kiki Malomo Paris at 100m and Jordan Neil at 1500m. Hannah"s 200m time of 24.9 was blistering and she also equalled her long jump record of a year ago. David threw 47.75m and also won discus while Jordan ran 4:04.0 against the clock. At 800m Mark Patterson and Niall Robinson had a superb duel, edged by Mark, but both were spurred on to go well below the 2 minute mark. They were both inside Sean Crowther"s long-standing U17 club record. Lots of other good results with all the expected athletes going on to the Ulster Schools.
