Representing Stirling University Mark Carberry competed in the Scottish Universities track races on Saturday. Having qualified for the 800M final Mark lost ground in the final 300M and couldn’t bridge the gap in the run-in finishing a credible 4th place in 2:00:37.
Running the 2nd leg of the 4x400M relay Mark took over in 4th place and took care of two positions during his lap, handing over in 2nd which is where the team finished.
Congratulations to Mark who is training and competing well at Stirling and will be a great addition to the North Down squad on his return from studies.
