The athletics community is saddened by the death on Wednesday of Richard Weglarz. A decathlete who represented his native Poland at the highest level, Richard has lived in the area for many years. He has maintained an interest in North Down AC since the early days and over the years he has been a competitor, a coach and a sponsor of the club. Our sympathy goes to his family and friends.
