North Down were well represented on Friday evening at the 4th running of the multi surface 10k run around the trails of the Lagan towpath, minnowburn and of course the Giants Ring.
We had prize winners in the form of Helen Byers, O35, Pamela Phillips, O40 and John Ewing, 1st Junior. Jack Bradshaw led the ND contingent home in 12th place with a time of 38:40 which was a little over a minute ahead of our junior winner John who clocked 39:45. Philip Mulligan covered the undulating course in 43:11 which placed him 38th and Andrew Muir returned on 44:35, 53rd.
Helen Byers won her age category with a time of 46:11 and Pamela Phillips, 49:05 while Alan Hughes recorded 50:30 and Pat O’Driscoll 1:07:47.
