North Down AC are delighted to announce the return of the primary school Minis Competition. The 2024 events will take place at Bangor Sportsplex on the following dates:
- Wednesday 17th April 2024
- Wednesday 22nd May 2024
- Wednesday 19th June 2024
Events:
- Throw*
- 60m race
- Long Jump
- 600m race
Online registration is now open at the link below. Registration on the night will take place from 6 – 6.30pm, events commence 7.00pm.
*Throw will be shot on 17th April, discus on 22nd May & javelin on 19th June (subject to change). If your child has no experience of a throws event using specific equipment, particularly javelin, it would be unwise to enter them. There will be no facility for ‘on the spot’ coaching at the event, and safety is paramount.
£5 per child per night for UP TO 3 events – Suitable for P5, P6 & P7 only.
Please note there will be no photo finish. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian when not competing.
