The intention is to host a series of 1 mile races in ideal conditions where runners have the opportunity to earn personal bests. It was a success on Friday evening for the North Down entrants who came away with pb’s and a win in the ladies race for Jessica Craig, who was agonisingly close to sub 5 minutes as the clock stopped in 5:00:10. Terry Eakin also claimed a notable success as he recorded the fastest O65 time in the UK this year with a time of 5:55:43.
