North Down AC will again host a series of athletics sessions for children of primary school age, limited to those aged 8,9,10,11. With the track soon due to close for essential repairs, the sessions will be held at St Columbanus College, Ballymaconnell Road, Bangor from 6.30pm until 8.00pm on Monday evenings from 22 May until 26 June 2006. There will be a separate registration day so that we will know how many coaches we need to have in place from session one and this will be held at Bangor Sportsplex on Monday 15 May between 7.00pm and 8.00pm. Sessions will be suitable for 8 – 11 year olds, covering sport specific skills for ages 8, 9 and 10 with further development for those aged 11. The cost will be £12 per person for the 6 sessions and this must be paid in advance, either by mail or at the Registration Day.
