The club’s top two young female athletes were both in action in Santry on Saturday 5th August at the Celtic Games, which sees U16 & U18 boys & girls teams from Ireland, Scotland & Wales competing together with a development squad from the host nation.
Murphy Miller continues to impress this season and, as a member of the Irish U16 Development squad, ran yet another lifetime best of 4:44.94 in a high quality combined U16/U18 1500m to finish 4th in the U16s.
Rachel McCann earned her second Irish vest of the summer as a member of the victorious U18 4x400m relay team that took gold in a time of 3:51.47.
