The recent good road racing results continued on Saturday at the NIVAA Embankment 5K in Ormeau Park. Top North Down runner was Niall Robinson who was 6th in 16:10 min, one place and two seconds ahead of Simon Seaton with Jordan Stokes 12th in 16:37 min. The girls were led by Julie Balmer who just missed a best club ladies time over 5K with 19:05 min, with Stephanie Hambling 19:24, Ali Robinson 19:54 and Roberta Dornan, recovering from a stress fracture 20:48. However it was the category results that hit the eye with Gerry Coy 1st M50, Terry Eakin 1st M55, David Seaton 1st M60, Fred Murdock 1st M65, Stephanie Hambling 1st F40 and Debbie Matchett 2nd F40.
