On Saturday the domestic indoor track season got underway at the Ulster University Jordanstown, with events over 60 metres flat, 60 metres hurdles and Shot Putt for athletes aged Under 14 and upwards. Three somewhat rusty North Down athletes took advantage of the chance to have a run out. Oliver Wakefield won the Youths 60m in 7.41 sec and was 3rd in the hurdles in 8.88. However in the hurdles, he was running out of his age group and it was his first time with 110m spacings and he was more than happy with the result. In the Boys 60m Luke Adair was 3rd in 8.38 and in the Mens section Curtis Woods ran 7.23 for 4th.
