[Not a valid template]North Down had eight representatives in Birmingham at the British and Irish Masters International at cross country. Pride of place went to Terry Eakin with a silver individual medal in the M60 category and to Jill Dowie with a team bronze as part of the Northern Ireland F35 squad. The race was held in Perry Park at the rear of the stadium and conditions were wet, windy and muddy. Stephanie Hambling, Debbie Matchett, Fred Murdoch, Gerry Coy, David Seaton and Mark Weir were the other club runners
