Robin Brown notched up another classy victory on Sunday in the Carrickfergus 10K, now organised by Seapark 10K and run over a new two lap accurately-measured course. Robin shadowed favourite Alan McCullough throughout most of the race, moving ahead close to the end to win by 7 secs in 33:00 min. Francis Marsh got involved in 3 man sprint for 3rd over the last 300m, but was overhauled by Ian Bailey leaving him behind in 4th by a second in 33:47 min. However Francis won 1st M40 prize. Darren McKee was 24th in 39:04 min, Terry Eakin was 26th and 1st M60 in 39:18 min and David Seaton was 37th and 1st M65 in 40:27 min. Pat O"Driscoll was 157th in 53:22 min and there were 262 finishers.
