Matthew Martin had the best result of the club members who competed in Tullamore on Saturday in the Schools Interprovinial. Matthew won the javelin by some distance with a throw of 52.02m and was also 4th in the shot with 11.88m, In the 200m the BGS duo of Mark Armstrong and Matthew Hamilton were respectively 4th and 6th with pbs of 22.9 and 23.5 sec. Cydnie McCullough was 5th in the 300m hurdles with 47.5 sec, also a pb though it can be frustrating that the Schools Interprovincial never uses photo finish. Beth Wilson was 7th in the discus with 25.59m.
