The club was out in force on Friday evening at the Ards Half Marathon where conditions were good if windy. There were some excellent results with Francis Marsh 4th overall and 1st M40 in 74:45 min with Les Wilkinson and Gerry Coy in the top 30. The girls were dominant with Roberta Dornan 2nd in the ladies race with 89:08, Julie Balmer making a welcome return for 3rd in 90:13, Jill Aicken 8th and Sarah Benton 12th. All are well placed in the half marathon series which has two races to go. The race is also a part of the Ards Borough which also includes the Portaferry 10 miler and the Ards 5 mile Challenge.
