It was very blustery at Gateshead on Friday and Saturday and there weren"t many medals coming Northern Ireland"s way but Matthew Martin ehded his season with one of them. Though well down on his pb, Matthew"s 54.02m was enough for the bronze medal in the javelin, appropriately enough as Matthew captained the boys team. In the 300m hurdles, Cydnie McCullough ran 48.97 secs and at 200m, Mark Armstrong ran 23.40 sec.
