Terry Eakin was running in London on Sunday in the Cabbage Patch 10 mile Twickenham and says he was surprised to overtake at 9 miles Kidst Yichenku (a female) from the Ethopian team. Presumably she had gone out too fast but Terry claims it just shows that the Africans are beatable, (albeit their women), even by knackered North Down pensioners!
For the record, Terry finished in 62:32 min.
