Stephen Purdie completed the Amsterdam Marathon at the weekend in 3:19:06 hours. Conditions were perfect for marathon running with a temperature about 8-10ºC, sunny with barely a breeze. Stephen says it was a very well supported event with a great finish in the Olympic Stadium.
