Jordan Neil concluded his athletics career at McNeese State today with a solid 29th place (26:37.2) in the Southland Conference mens 8k xc champs – with the race starting at 9:45am over the Bayou Din Golf Course in Beaumont Texas. Conditions were very windy and the McNeese 2 leading runners were mis-directed when 1st & 2nd and came 2nd in the team race with David Rooney highest place in 5th (24:56.6). Jordan moves on to East Carolina University in January to start a masters and should be competing in the Eastern Conference at indoor and outdoor track in 2011. Rounding up the uni results, Robin Brown was 2nd (27:16) in the 8k Fen Ditton Cambridge Uni colleges race last Sunday.
