At the Irish Universities Indor Championships in Nenagh, Tom Reynolds (UU) broke the IUAA record in the Combined Events (pentathlon), winning with 3568 points. Tom was also 2nd in the 60m hurdles in 8.39 sec and 3rd at shot with 12.32m. Results for individual events were 60mH 5.45; 1000m 3:02.04; HJ 1.80m; LJ 6.81m; SP 12..82m. Amy Foster (UU) won the 60m in 7.57 sec after equalling her pb in the openong heat with 7.51 sec. In the Birmingham Games, Niall Robinson was 5th at 1500m in 3:54.25 min
