Hannah Lewis (competing for Bath Uni) started her indoor season well in winning the long jump – with a distance of 5.80m – at Wednesday"s inter-varsity match in Birmingham. Hannah also anchored Team Bath to an easy win in the 4 . 200m relay. Lauren Scott came close to winning as well in the 1500 after taking the lead and pushing the pace from 800m when the pace was slow, but was eventually overtaken in the home straight by her Birmingham Uni team mate – still clocking a useful 4:37.89.
The current indoor season may be in its infancy but senior records are tumbling. Lauren"s 1500m is and indoor pb and a huge advance om the club indoor record and Hannah has extended her indoor pb abd club record by a centimetre.
