Alex Donald was 2nd overall and Roberta Dornan 2nd female were both well inside the club 5 mile road record on Saturday at the Albertville race round the Duncrue Industrial Estate. Alan O”Hara of North Belfast led from start to finish and the 4:57 min first mile lost any chaser after that point except Alex. Francis Marsh slipped back to an isolated 4th. Mark Weir made a welcome return and completed the mens team which finished 2nd. Darren McKee, Thomas Simpson, Nick Irvine, John McGarvey and David Balmer provided useful backing. David Seaton and Terry Eakin were category winners. Julie Balmer was 3rd female behind Cathy McCcourt of North Belfast and Roberta but neither North Befast nor North Down had a 3rd girl, Orangegrove AC taking the womens race..
