PB Fest at Queens 5K

[Not a valid template][Not a valid template]]The clocks go forward and the midweek races multiply. On Wednesday evening 700 or so runners did the Queens “Round the River” 5k in ideal conditions. The result was a glut of pbs, many of them by around 40 or 50 seconds. Niall Robinson was the odd one out in a classy leading quartet but was content with a sub 15 minute time of 14:55 min which smashed the club record. Jessica Craig was also 4th in the womens race with a huge pb of 18:12 min which takes her to 2nd on the club all-time list. Another big pb from Ange Perrott of 20:33 took her to the first F35 prize and Glen Willis was also delighted with 16:31.  Other pbs included Mark Weir, Darren McKee, Thomas Simpson and Simon Robinson and there were good first time runs from Mark Angus and Mark McCaughey
