Overall club records at 300m and triple jump by Kim Shaw were the North Down highlights at its promotion at Bangor Sportsplex last night, sponsored by the Bank of Ireland. Many of the younger members were competing for the first time and Heather’s Monday night group was conspicuous. The weather did its stuff and it was good to see the support from other clubs and in particular the increased numbers at U18 level.
