Ben Reynolds smashes 38 year old hurdles record: Track news

Ben Reynolds was in action on Saturday in Belgium at the Flanders International Meeting where he was 4th in the 110m hurdles in 14.12 sec into a  -0.6  headwind. After several recent runs inside the 38 year old Northern Ireland record of C J Kirkpatrick which were invalid as outside the legal wind lim, the Inter Counties Champion has finally become the National record holder.

Amy Foster was in action on Thursday night at the Bonneuil sur Marne meet in France where she won the 200m in a windy  race in 23.65 (+4.2). Amy has been named on the Irish European Cup team competing in the 200m and on Thursday was also part of the Irish 4x100m team which clocked 46.19.

At an Irish Milers meeting in Tullamore, Niall Robinson was 7th in a  800m race in 1.52.92 min.
