The North Down athletes who went to Dublin on Saturday for the Irishtown Irish Milers Club meeting didn’t get the conditions for which they were hoping. Niall Robinson suffered a car breakdown on the way but was lucky to find a lift, arriving just before the race. Then he claimed a hurricane started. He was edged out in the "B" 800m, finishing 2nd in 2:53.55 min. In the same race Mike Dyer was 6th in a seasons best of 1:55.10. Another seasons best went to James Budde in the "C" race with 4th in 1:57.18. In the womens race Jessica Craig was just outside her pb with 9th in 2:21.41 min.
