[Not a valid template]Round 2 of the Woodie’s National League could have been a banana skin but despite being bang in the middle of the July fortnight, the North Down teams, men and women both reached the final in Tullamore on 20th August. With a good result at Sligo in Round 1, the teams knew exactly what they had to do and dealt well with the poor conditions. The womens team in particular was again very small but they still completed a scoring quota of events. Both teams were 4th on the day and when the results from both centres and both rounds are combined, the men go into the 8 team final in 4th place and the women in 7th.
