Matthew Martin had to wait until the last day of the Athletic competition at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Isle of Man with the wet windy conditions at their worst on Sunday afternoon. Matthew finished 7th in the mens javelin with a throw of 56.87m. South African Morne Moolman took gold with 81.53m, from Australian Luke Cann 75.21 and Adrian Williams of St Kitts and Nevis 63.02m.
